On-site product photoshoot and website design for Kennedy Greenhouses, a family-owned and operated garden centre in Markham, Ontario.
Project Brief
Photograph seasonal product and garden centre facilities.
Capture the essence of summer & fall in the greenhouse, through colours, textures and unique product offerings.
Design a simple website to showcase product imagery, contact information and online catalogue.
My Role
I produced a collection of photos on-site at their greenhouses that captures the essence of the changing seasons, with the variations of vibrant colours & textures, as well as the wide array of seasonally stocked specialties, such as custom planter baskets, urns and various other special order arrangements.
I created a mobile friendly website design which included simplifying existing content structure and copywriting. I created a Squarespace template that includes bold text overlays, poster-style imagery and a good use of white space. The photography feels professional and fresh, and the typography is elegant and friendly, in an effort to compliment their neighbourly, family-oriented approach to business.
