Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO) Bi-weekly Catalogue​​​​​​​ showcasing in-store featured product promotions and thematic seasonal campaigns.
Project Brief
Lead the in-studio design & art direction of LCBO's Bi-weekly catalogue highlighting current promotional marketing campaigns.
Establish the look & feel of each thematic feature.
Coordinate and plan the photoshoots necessary for capturing the required product shotlists, as well as the food & beverage photography for each issue.
My Role
I was the in-house studio Design & Art Direction lead of LCBO's bi-weekly print & digital catalog, responsible for all creative briefs, pre-production presentations and editorial design layouts, through to final press approvals.
I created pre-production photography and design briefs to establish the overall creative direction for each issue of the catalogue. I created mood-boards outlining specific props, glassware, garnishes, surfaces and on-set build instructions, as well as sample mockups for each shot list.
I served as a liaison to the copywriters and marketing coordinators, ensuring that all content was not only received accordingly, but was suitable lengths for specific photography overlays and editorial spreads; working alongside the production studio to tweak and massage copy where necessary. 
I provided on-set art-direction of product shots and food & beverage photography, collaborating with prop stylists, food stylists, and photographers, while providing mentorship to junior creatives.
I attended final press approvals to police overall compliance with LCBO brand guidelines, AGCO advertising directives and social responsibility mandates.
